Context

Ohanko is an end-of-study project realized in 6 mouth of production before being presented to a jury. The project was originaly a end-year project from last year proposed and designed by Roxane CIBERT.

​

The project was very ambitious, and our main challenge was to be able to present a small part of the game repesentative of the wanted quality.

​

Because of the quarantine due to Covid-19, we have teleworked during 2/3 of the production.

Constraints :

  • Every asset and code must be done by us.

  • Presenting a demo lasting 10 to 15 minutes.

As a Game Designer

This project started last year when I wasn"t part of the team. So, when I join the production this year, a major part of the design was already done.

During the production, my job was to

  • Improve and reworks pre-existing mecanics, that was lacking of complexity and cohesion with the desired User Experience.

  • Create new mecanics in order to fill our Open world type demo.

  • Establish a list of Sign & Feedback, and every indicator present in the game to ensure an optimal clarity for the player.
